Upgrade My 8125
To upgrade your 8125 to take advantage of the new MSFP feature pack, follow the steps below.
Note: All information including settings, contacts, and third-party programs will be removed from the device and must be reinstalled after the upgrade. The upgrade process should take about 10 minutes.
You may notice that the upgrade process indicator will appear to stall at around 85% for several minutes. Do not disconnect your device as this is normal behavior

- Download the new ROM for the 8125 from this link CLICK HERE
- Select Save and store the file on your desktop
- Connect your Cingular 8125 with the PC, using the USB cable and establish an ActiveSync session.
- You can connect to a computer as a Guest
- Double-click the downloaded file and follow the instructions.
- Your battery must have more than 50% remaining
- Do not disconnect the device during this process

The link on the top is dead. Anyone have the link to the latest 8125 cingular update? Htc isnt helping me at all. Cingular / at&t isnt anymore either.

let me understand this correctly...i need to take advantage of the new MSFP feature pack in order to continue synching with my work email server. If my ROM info and other info shown in the screenshot of the linked page above MATCH the info on my device, I am all set and no further action is required??

Every time I attempt to update the ROM on my 8125, it doesn't even get past 0% before coming up with an error message saying error code 206. Any ideas? It tells me to try resetting my phone, and if that doesn't work to restart the computer. I have tried both of those, and still the same error. I have tried starting the computer in safe mode just to be sure it is not a software conflict of some sort, still same thing. Even went so far as to do a hard reset (erase) on the phone to see if that helps, but still get the same error. I'm hoping someone out there can tell me what to do. I have been doing searches all over online, but cannot find any references to anyone getting that error code when updating their ROM. Thanks!!

I have a QTEKA9100 WIZA100 (Pocket PC) with the following versions:
ROM : 2.22.17.2. ESN 3/23/2006 RADIO: 01.16.11 PROTOCOL: 4.0.13.21 extROM: 2.22.17.102 I would like to install the last software version from HTC. how does it work ? Because the version for HTC comes in English. My Pocket PC is unbloqued to work with any provider. How can I get the las version in ESN. |
