Anonymous Alarms Don't Sound 0 Dec 19 2007, 10:39 PM EST by Anonymous

After a while the alert function doesn't work on any of my calendar items nor for the Alarms. If I re-image the phone with the image downloaded from the HTC web site, it works for a while. I have tried soft resets to no avail and for some reason I can't do a hard reset no matter how I try. I am getting frustrated with this unit. It is almost 2 years old so I am thinking of getting the Wing, but I don't know that I won't run into this on that as well.

iccard Repair of power connector 4 Nov 4 2007, 2:50 PM EST by Anonymous

Can anyone tell me how to get repair of the powere connector on my 8125. The Cingular sales guy told me to repair is over $700, which I think is illogical.

The connector port fell into the unit. It is only 7 months old and Cingular denies a warranty because it is Physical damage. They only cover if the part stops working, not something breaking. I said if I bought a new car and the door handle fell off it is a physical break and they would fix it, I don't understand Cingulars ridiculous comment - but they hold the cards. And, I am screwed.

paintbrush99 Usability of the HTC 8125. 3 May 29 2007, 10:54 AM EDT by browntannis

After reading all the reports of problems with the 8125 from other users, I bought one. I'm no computer whiz, but the key ingredient for ease of use with the 8125 is patience. Once you tweak it a bit. (took me two months) it does amazing things. This machine will be worn out before my Cingular contract expires (at the rate I'm using it) Thank you HTC ! I've been waiting for this machine nigh onto twenty years.
