The link on the top is dead. Anyone have the link to the latest 8125 cingular update? Htc isnt helping me at all. Cingular / at&t isnt anymore either.

Every time I attempt to update the ROM on my 8125, it doesn't even get past 0% before coming up with an error message saying error code 206. Any ideas? It tells me to try resetting my phone, and if that doesn't work to restart the computer. I have tried both of those, and still the same error. I have tried starting the computer in safe mode just to be sure it is not a software conflict of some sort, still same thing. Even went so far as to do a hard reset (erase) on the phone to see if that helps, but still get the same error. I'm hoping someone out there can tell me what to do. I have been doing searches all over online, but cannot find any references to anyone getting that error code when updating their ROM. Thanks!!

You get a new 8125 in the mail, you have an issue or two, you go online and find talk of a "new upgrade" or a "new ROM". How does one know if they need this? How does one know which ROM they currently have? Is there a listing of issues the upgrade fixes?
