There have been several people complaining about the 8125 dropping calls because of the Data Connection. What happens is that you are on the phone talking, the phone tries to do a data connection, the phone call goes dead but the phone still shows that you are connected. Once you press end, the phone goes into flight mode (less than a second) and then starts to reconnect to the network.

There is a simple fix for this. It is located at http://www.netmotionwireless.com/support/technotes/2208.asp. This has to be installed after every hard reset.
