- It is recommended that the default location C:\Program Files\Microsoft ActiveSync\ be used Click Next Click Install to begin installation of ActiveSync The Install Wizard will begin installing all necessary files to the computer including drivers for the device. When the installation is done, the screen will indicate that the setup is complete Click FinishInstallation
- After theCreating installation,an ActiveSync will open with the Get Connected page Connect the USB cable to the computer Ensure that the device is on and connect it to the USB cable Click Next after the device has been connected to the computer Once the device is connected to the computer, the Found New Hardware wizard should recognize the device as a Generic RNDIS, followed by Windows Mobile Based Device. It will then indicate that is has been installed and is ready to use.Partnership
