I operate completely in the cloud. I am a macbook user. I use oggsync to sync with google calendar and gmail contacts. Along with that I am connected to Gmail using IMAP. For tasks I am a RTM (www.rememberthemilk.com) user, and they have an app (Milksync) that syncs online tasks with the windows mobile built in client. To get music to my phone I use a "usb to pc" software (not sure what it's called, because it was included in the custom ROM I am running.
