I have spent hours looking for an answer on how to send E-mail using my t-mobile dash. Its easy to receive the e-mails its another to send. The answer for me was already on my phone. The first thing to do is download mobile 6.0. after you install 6.0 go to add new e-mail account and with a little luck mobile 6 will configure your e-mail.just remeber when you add mobile 6.0 it will erase all your existing e-mails and you will have to add them again so copy all info prior to the download. I use yahoo so this was no problem mobile 6.0 program configured the e-mail by itself. Hopefully it wil do the same for your account. Now its time to cheat. Go to messaging and select yahoo> highlight yahoo (or other mail client) and select. on the menu tab>press6>(tools)press3(options)>press4(account settings) click next to you get to outgoing mail server>(4times)copy down the server since i use yahoo this was mine> smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com> if you do not use yahoo copy down your mail sever info. do not change any settings. continue pushing next until you exit. now add your other e-mail account as before use all the incoming server info as you had done before. but when you reach the outgoing mail server type in the information that you copied earlier from your configured mailbox.. check the box outgoing mail server requires authentication. make sure to uncheck the other box if checked (use the same name). in the advanced setting make sure to uncheck all boxes no ssl requirement. hit done, hit next. in the next screen type in your user name (since i use yahoo it was my yahoo login name)(do not put (@ - - - .com) type in your password for that account click on save password. next set up your profile when your done hit next then set your message format. hit finish then done. now exit out and try to send. i hope your jumping for joy if not double check your settings. i used the same outgoing mail server for all my e-mails and they all worked. Good luck
