Out of Sync? Dec 12 2007, 8:41 AM EST My Touch has been having sync issues straight from the beginning. Innitially it would only sync intermittenly and also take a very long time syncing. Now it has stopped syncing all together. It will recharge throught he USB cable but the host PC or laptop will not detect the device ehnce it is not syncing. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this? E. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Out of Sync? Dec 12 2007, 10:03 AM EST I had this very same issue, I could sync up at work but then went home and could not sync with my computer while it was still charging my phone. Luckily, the HTC website that lists the newest patch for the phone gave a little bit of insight. Try out the following steps and let me know if it works (It did for me). -Go to START > SETTINGS > Connections Tab -Drill on 'USB to PC' -DESELECT 'Enable advanced network functionality' Try syncing again after doing this and see what happens, mine immediately worked and the computer installed the device. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Out of Sync? Dec 15 2007, 5:22 PM EST Finally got a call back from HTC yesterday. Ran all the diagnostics (that I had already done myself) with no change. They requested that I return the unit for repair or replacement.. Do you find this valuable? |
