Trinity Reviews

Trinity P-3600

Comparisons.

Without question this is one of the best phones I've ever owned. My comparisons are based on having owned several popular phones like the Cingular 8125, 8525 and the 3125 flip phone which would be my second choice for a cell phone. I also owned a Motorola Razr when it first came out and I recently had the Nokia N-80.

Technology wise the Trinity is closely related to the 8525 but that is where the similarities end. Before buying this phone I read as many reviews as I could find which wasn't many. I decided on the white version which the guy I got it from told me reminded him of the IPOD and we all know how well that look sold. The size of the P-3600 is great and I honestly wouldn’t want it to be any smaller. When put beside the 8125 or 8525 it looks much smaller without the keyboard. From the specs I expected a small difference in size but when it comes to a cell phone a little can be a lot because I think it is much smaller overall. Personally I don't need a keyboard and can type fast enough on the virtual one. Thus the smaller size without a keyboard is the perfect trade off for me.

The 3G network is fast but I had difficulty getting the right settings for the phone at first, but thanks to a tech person at Cingular we were able to get it programmed. Its important to remember that a branded phone already has the settings whereas an unbranded one your service provider doesn’t sell will not. But don’t let that discourage you from this phone because its much easier than it use to be.

The phone fits great in your hand and has a much better button layout than the 8525 does. The 8525 has to many buttons for my taste and it was too easy to accidentally turn the camera on or hit some other button when taking it out of the holster.

This is a fantastic phone and if you're looking for one that not only looks great but also fits your hand nicely plus loads of features this is your phone. I'm very pleased with my choice of white with it's silver trim and would definately do it again!
