I am looking for a good software to trim mp3 files so when they are used as a text message notification they don't play the entire song with no way to stop it!!!!

Anyone that has ideas, I thank you.

I've come across a program called "MakeOwnRingtone.com" but I am hesitant to use it because I know nothing about it. Does anyone have any experience with it? Do you find this valuable?
