The PPC6800 has been known to have some issues. Having said that, I will say that it seems many people who get this phone are not capable of handling it properly which causes alot of issues. The major issue that arises is that simply tapping the "x" on the window does not close the program, it keeps it running in the background. You must go into settings>system tab>memory>running programs>stop all to release some of the memory being used by the device. There is a good download available to fix this called "HTC X" where you can set it to close the program when you hit the "x".

You really need to have some level of computer literacy and saavy to be able to manage this phone properly. The phone is very sensitive to being overworked, even with a 4G memory card in it. Be careful downloading third party applications (except HTC X) as they may cause issues, as with any computer. As far as having a mobile phone/ laptop/ pda/ music player/ picture message sending capabilities, there is no better piece of equipment.

I really wish HTC would come out with a software update already for the phone though, it has not been updated since August 2007. It is long overdue to fix alot of the quirky issues with this phone (mainly bluetooth pairing stability). 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
