RE: Windows Media PLayer doesn't work. Just keeps giving error message. Jan 16 2008, 6:33 PM EST "Someone give me a reason to keep this phone."What error message are you getting when trying to play files? Are the files loaded directly on your device or on a storage card? If a Storage Card, what format (Fat16 or 32?) What are the format of the files? Need some details to try to help. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Windows Media PLayer doesn't work. Just keeps giving error messag Feb 5 2008, 9:20 PM EST I've had the same issue. mp3 file is stored locally on the phone. The song plays with Windows Media Player for 15-20 seconds then returns the following error code: 0X8007000E. Same thing happens every time. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance JR 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Windows Media PLayer doesn't work. Just keeps giving error messag Mar 13 2008, 3:02 PM EDT I experienced the same issue with my phone. The solution to this is soft booting the unit (pull the battery for 10 secs). This should correct the issue and regularly ensuring programs are shut down using the task manager will help you avoid the problem in the future. The reason this happens is because windows mobile leaves programs open in the background unless you shut them down. this uses up your available memory to the point where the media player doesn't have enough to function properly. Hope this helps. CP 4 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |
