ROM 2.13.666.1 killed my 6800! Jan 10 2008, 12:28 AM EST DON'T TRY THIS ROM UPDATE FROM BELL! I downloaded and installed it hoping it would solve my Bluetooth issues. I followed the instructions to the letter, but the phone crashed while rebooting after the update and went AWOL. My $600 phone is now a brick and won't even boot up. A hard resent doesn't even faze it. I'm starting to wish I'd just bought a BlackBerry. In any case, THIS UPDATE IS A $%&* VIRUS! Beware! 0 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

Can you tell me where you got it? I don't have this phone, but wanted to see how it was supposed to work and try to find a way to help you. Do you find this valuable? |

The store in the Eatons centre in Toronto has some good techies, phone them and try to get some instruction. I also downloaded and installed Sprite Backup so that if my phone croaked I could have a backup on my pc, which Active synch doesn't provide. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I'm guessing (praying) he/she backed up their info. Reflashing without deleting the program will kill the OS. Do you find this valuable? |
