Anonymous 		HTC TOUCH Unresponsive Screen

Can anyone please help me - I have a two month old HTC Touch and the touch screen is unresponsive for long period of times. As far as I know I haven't mishandled. Could this be a software or hardware fault? Do you find this valuable?
