I have had my Dash for about 2 months. I have experienced that during phone calls, the person that I am talking to can hear text message alerts and new voice mail alerts. I get the "what was that?" comment. Has anyone experienced that? If so what was the fix.

Turn off the sound alerts, then. That's likely the problem: the person on the other end is hearing the sound coming from the receiver because your volume is too high.
