I can get emails from my dotmac account but cannot send any, they are stuck in the outbox.... any suggestions?
outgoing mailserver is set at: smtp.mac.com and "outgoing server requires authentication" box is checked.

I had this same problem. Called Mac and they said call T-mobile. T-mobile was no help, however, I figured it out.

In your Mac mail on you phone, choose Tools --> Options --> Account Settings. When you get to the Outgoing account settings, choose Advanced Server Settings and ensure that the box next to "Require SSL for outgoing mail" is checked. This solved the same problem for me.
