HTC Touch and Windows mobile 6.1

I recently installed windows mobile 6.1 and I noticed that keyboard options are not as diverse as 5.0.
The buttons on the keyboard is really really tiny and I don't like using stylus to send my text massages (using my hands is much more convenient)
So i was wondering if there are any other options to add different keyboard types?
How do other people with 6.1 send text messages (granted that you dont have full keyboard)?
