HTC TyTN II Upgrade Problem To WM6.1

I have some problem with my upgrade of my TYTN II or Kaiser P4550.

I download the firmware of the TYTN II that will be available into the e-club and doing my upgrade! My real problem begin at this moment. The phone won't work from that time I begin the upgrade!

I send it to the RMA department and they found noting wrong after 7 days of work day on it! They send me back last friday and still have the same problem! After few call to the tech support and the RMA department, I finally know that the version of my TYTN II is to old to accept this upgrade!

If The rom update availible at htc.com is out of date then it could cause an error on the phone and cause it not to work.

bwwhitlock TYTN II bluetooth handsfree settings not working inbound 0 Mar 24 2009, 11:57 PM EDT by bwwhitlock

Have AT&T Tilt (TYTN II) with WM6.1 trying to setup bluetooth headset (Moto HS850). After pairing sucessfully and setting the headset to handsfree mode on the setup screen i still can't get audio through the headset on an incoming call unless i first answer the call from the phone and then use the menu to select handsfree while the call is connected. If i am making a call with the headset paired the audio is fine and i dont have to do anything special. Any suggestions on settings or adding a third party bluetooth stack?

sferreir HTC TyTN II Upgrade problem to WM6.1 (Active Sync) 16 Mar 12 2009, 11:26 AM EDT by 8525user

I have also an WM6.1 problem related to the upgrade on my TyTN II (and some other within our corporation). Great idea for the Microsoft WM team to do the messaging options like an IM client, functionality upgrades, SCCM managibility and whatnot, but the major problem starts with Active Sync...

Servers: Microsoft Exchange 2007 x64 (SP1) - SSL/OWA/etc enabled. Windows 2003 Enterprise Server R2 x64
PCs: Windows XP SP2, Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista Ent (x86 & x64) SP1

When syncing the device (TyTN II) to retrieve or send compiled mails, the device seem to pop up with a blank screen (generated by Active Sync), with the actual syncing process trying to take place behind this window. Pressing the "OK" button takes the window away, and then the nice error message appears "attention required" - you have stopped active sync... This is most irratating as the sync does not take place successfully. This also results that the email messages situated in the "Drafts" folder are sent, yet does not move to "Sent", replicating the message almost every 5min to the destined user...

This problem never existed with the WM6 release, yet doing the upgrade to WM6.1 and reverting back to WM6 left this problem intact that it keeps on occuring...

techdope Downgrade from Windows Mobile 6.1 5 Feb 23 2009, 12:01 PM EST by Chris-CEO

I have had nothing but grief since I installed Windows Mobile6.1.

The biggest problem is it won't sync properly to 2 computers, I get the Error on desktop message 086000107 also programs malfunction and lock up. How can I get rid of this "upgrade"? Will a hard reset put me back to WM 6.0?

I am not interested in why this happens or how to fix it, I just need a phone that works!
