HTC TOUCH DEAD

Can anyone give me a hand...I have had my HTC Touch for just over a year now, and of coarse...just long enough to be outta warr't...I have had countless problem with the device in that year...but now...it is totally DEAD and will not recieve any TOUCH commands...HTC says there is nothing they can do AND my carrier says there is nothing they can do...broken phone and 2 years left on my contract...WONDERFUL! Do you find this valuable?
