HTC headsets Dec 31 2006, 9:05 PM EST you have to be careful when purchasing headsets for HTC phones... the wiring is different compared to other brands. for motorola rokr, the wiring is mic, left, right, ground, but for my HTC wizard it is left, right, mic, ground... I tried many headsets "out there", all of them only play sound on the right side... in your case you probably got the speaker and mic swapped... if you have the electornics know-how, you can splice the cable and rewire them correctly see if it fix the problem (I didn't try that tho) Quote and Reply Post a Reply 3 out of 3 found this valuable. RE: HTC headsets Jan 15 2007, 11:35 PM EST I used an audio adapter to connect the audio out of the Cinguar 8125 to my car aux in. Music etc works great. I can even make calls. However for incoming calls, the microphone appears to be disabled. The other party cannot hear me. This happens only for incoming calls. I can perfectly use MS Voice Command in my car to talk the phone Quote and Reply Post a Reply Do you find this valuable? |
