Anonymous problem with data transfer from phone to PC 1 Nov 1, 11:59 PM EDT by vipertech1
Thread started: Oct 24, 1:05 AM EDT  Watch
I have a 2GB micro sd storage card, have window mobile 5.0, and am using active syn 4.5 (downloaded off the internet since the cd i had created a problem with the drivers).

The issue is when transferring data from phone to PC or vice versa, sometimes it's great. Sometimes, i get weird folders with gibberish names and files like my photos will disappear entirely. I have no idea what to do and if the data loss is permanent.

Anonymous problems with playing vociemail attachements 1 Sep 22, 10:32 AM EDT by vipertech1

I have a HTC P4350, it works good, but there is only one problem: I can't play the voicemail attachements (*.wav) I receive from my phone provider. On an regular pc it works without problems. But on my P4350 the name of the attachments changes and the extension .wav dissapears. When I forward this message to a pc, this problem does not exist anymore, and I can play the same file! I tried to rename the attachement, saved it on the storage card, tried webmail and pop-mail, but without succes. Can anybody help me to solve this problem?

I've been an owner of this handset for about 3 or 4 months now and on the whole it has served me very well. Some downsides, however:

You have really got to keep this in its pouch when not in use as the screen and case suffers cosmetic damage really easy, however its build is sturdy has has survived the occasional drop.

The Operating System can hang up sometimes, even when no applications are running, causing delays when trying to get into the phone, lookup a contact etc. Sometimes, it has called up the contact list, but all the names are blank so I couldn't find anybody. Going out and back in again resolved this. I've never really had a crash on the phone and have only needed to reboot it when messages wouldn't come through all of a sudden.

I'm now on my second stylus as the top fell of my first one (package comes with a spare).

On the whole, however, this is a very reliable piece of kit that has served me well.
