    2GB miniSD problems

Have Cingular 8525 phone with 2GB miniSD and it is only recognized by software when I use File Explorer. It will not add on to drop down menues nor will my MP3's on it be found by Media Player. Any ideas?

I agree that the 8525 needed more time in engineering. I am on my second one from AT&T, having exchanged the first under warranty. The screen goes blank, incorrect functions pop up (press the phone button and the camera turns on), has charging problems, etc. Plus, the 8525 does not function well as a telephone. The phone is nearly impossible to dial with one hand as I did my RAZR. Also, the voice command options are unreliable. Say Home or Mom and it interprets this as Thom (a friend). Thom is getiting really ticked off. I feel like I got bent over badly when I purchsed the 8525.

    1. 8525 takes micro SD cards not mini, so unless that was a typo, you got the wrong card.

    2. the 8525 only recognises up to 1gb of memory card usage. i had to learn the hard way that a 2gb micro SD card would be useless with a 8525
