A startup by former HTC CEO Peter Chou, founded in 2017 in Taipei. In May 2020 it introduced the XRSpace Mova, a standalone 5G headset on a Snapdragon 845 with controller-free hand tracking and the XRSpace Manova social platform (virtual rooms, fitness, avatars), priced at $599; partners were Chunghwa Telecom and Deutsche Telekom. Sales remained modest; in 2022–2023 the company shifted toward AI avatars and metaverse services for enterprises (PartyOn, GOXR). An example of part of the HTC team trying to repeat the company's VR bet outside of it.
