A London video delivery company (OTT, DRM, UltraViolet), bought by HTC in February 2011 for £30 million for the HTC Watch service, the branded video store on HTC phones (Sensation and later). HTC Watch was shut down in 2013, Saffron continued serving third-party customers (Sky, Sony, EE), and in 2014 it was sold to Amdocs. One of a series of 2011 acquisitions (along with Dashwire for cloud sync, Zoodles for kids' apps, OnLive with a $40 million investment in cloud gaming, Abaxia and Inquisitive Minds) that HTC later wrote off.
