Announced on October 14, 2021, on sale from November 2021 at $499. "VR glasses" for meditation, movies and casual games: 189 g, foldable temples, two 2.1" LCDs at 1600×1600, 75 Hz, 100°, a Snapdragon XR1, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, inside-out 6DoF on 2 cameras, diopter adjustment (no glasses needed) and active cooling. There is no built-in battery: it is powered from a power bank over USB-C (HTC sold a strap with a 10,000 mAh battery), and controlled from an Android smartphone (as a 3DoF controller and screen mirror; iOS was added in 2022), with the Vive Flow Controller (6DoF) from 2022. Content: Viveport, TRIPP (meditation), YouTube VR and streaming from the phone. Criticized for its price and dependence on a phone, but an interesting form factor that foreshadowed "VR glasses" as a category. Supported by the Desire 22 Pro and U23 pro.
