A legendary device, announced in October 2009: the first Windows Mobile phone with a 4.3" WVGA capacitive multitouch display and the first on a Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 at 1 GHz. It had 448 MB of RAM, 512 MB of ROM, a 5 MP camera with a dual LED flash, a 1230 mAh battery, a weight of 157 g and HTC Sense on top of Windows Mobile 6.5. In the US it was the T-Mobile HD2 (with a 16 GB microSD card included). Thanks to the XDA Developers community, the HD2 received unofficial ports of Android (up to 7.x), Windows Phone 7/8, Ubuntu, MeeGo and Firefox OS, making it the most "moddable" phone in history.
