Sprint, June 4, 2010. The first 4G smartphone in the US (WiMAX) and, at the time, the most "stuffed" Android phone: a 4.3" WVGA display, a Snapdragon QSD8650 at 1 GHz, 512 MB of RAM, 1 GB of ROM, an 8 MP camera with dual LED and 720p video, a 1.3 MP front camera (the first on an Android phone in the US), HDMI output, a flip-out kickstand and a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to 8 devices. Android 2.1 → 2.3 with Sense. The most successful launch in Sprint's history at that point, with over 1 million sold in the first months. The Japanese version was the HTC EVO WiMAX ISW11HT (au/KDDI, 2011).
