yes, even I tried to reconnect to internet 3 times to check if I have got the slower connection but the downloading server itself is very slow.... but Good, long wait is over now... Lets see how 6.1 works...

Successfully installed the ROM update. But it shot my blackberry connect. Anyone had this same issue? Am told that the next bb connect update (4.0.0.103) should fix it. Can anyone confirm this? Anyone know when it will be released? Should have been yesterday at 5:00 central.

I saw this same thing reported on howardforums as a known bug. I don't know any more than their working on it

Yes the new version of BBC will work with WM 6.1 and HTC is still working on getting it up and available. No ETR though.

What about Kaiser Tweaks and all the other software. I can't keep the bloatware off 6.1? Any news?

The new version of BlackBerry Connect (4.0.0.103) has been released and is available on the HTC web site. I've installed it on my Tilt and it is working properly once again.

I've not been successful with the download either. Has anyone tried downloading it using their handheld? I still show 4.0.0.97.

Did you guys lose your BB PIN as a result of the ROM upgrade?

If you use the Balckberry Connect 4.0.0.100 it should work. I had the same problem with the .97. After upgrading to .100 and rebooting it seemed to work after a few mins.

I also cannot have a data connection open while phone is active...this is getting to be a disaster for me.

same issue here...when I soft reset when the "Customizing" window pops up, it does nto cancel the customize and it proceeds after reboot...UGH..don't tell me I have to clean this up with a cooked ROM...

My BlueTooth headset seems to have good volume as a result of this upgrade though...thats beena problem that i could not resolve with anyyweaks or even changi8gn headsets (not on BT 8040) this seems to be the one reason for me to keep WM6.1 and not go back IF they resolve the inability to use both data/voice and BBConnect 4.0.0.103 or better is released

I got the info from Rainman (Thanks)! you have to soft reset BEFORE the customization timer pops up. So as soon as your screen pops up all green and pretty....you hit the soft reset, I did id and it worked!

Details please; this is a 3G device and AT&T is a 3G network which gives the ability for Voice and Data at the same time.
I am able to do this with my device running WM 6.1...
What are you seeing?

Can't find the new version of BB Connect Client either. I still show 4.0.0.97, can't find xxx100 or .xxx103? No CAB file on the HTC website and when I try to download the latest version I still get .97.

When I was on a call, then tried to open PIE, and it gave me a message about it in a call and not able to make a connection....I also then tried "get BB connect hopign that 103 woudl eventually be put back, and got the same message.
I want back to WM6 to get it working again,

Yes, it was not a signal problem. When I went back to WM6 it works fine again.
