I bought a HTC PPC6800 phone with Alltel as my wireless provider. Had a problem with the speaker as the ringer was set on high and still it was not very loud at all. Had to take it back. I'm thinking of getting the HTC Touch phone line of phones and I'm wondering if the ringer is louder so I can hear it? Please advise, thanks. Thomas

Had the HTC PPC6800, took that back because of poor or little ringer/speaker. Then looked at the new HTC Touch Screen and tried that before buying it. Same Problem! Mayb HTC isn't interested in putting in decent speakers to hear the phone ringing????

I have the PPC6800 and the ringer is a bit weak. However, my wife has the touch and you can hear her soft music ringer in the next zip.
