Alltel PPC 6800: Ringer ID and Text Messages

Hello,I have the alltel version of the ppc 6800 and I wanted to know how to use the ringer id with text messages. If this is possible could someone tell me how to set it up so that the ringer id I have set for someone will play when they call or text me THank You 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

for a text message all it is saying is that you have a new text message it is a notification that you have a new text message just like a email

i played with it on my touch but i didn't get any were

All you have to do is go into settings.....Sounds and notifications anf it will say "event" click it and scroll till you see text message and chose sound!
