Announced in June 2022, on sale from 2022 at $5,000 (later $3,900 for the base kit). HTC's solution for virtual production (LED volume and green screen): three Vive Tracker 3.0 units attach to real film cameras, SteamVR 2.0 base stations track them, and the Mars module (a unit with FIZ encoders and genlock/timecode output) sends the position to Unreal Engine (the Mars plugin) over Ethernet with a latency below 1 frame. It replaces systems costing $50,000–100,000. Used in virtual production studios around the world; updates added support for the Ultimate Tracker and a DAC for FIZ.
