I wanted information about GPS on htc p3400i. Some people call it GENE too. How can I use GPS on it? Will I require special bluetooth GPS device? How does GPS work? Do I require internet connection to use it? Are their any charges to use GPS in India? Does it work worldwide? Please answer questions patiently. Thanks in advance. Do you find this valuable?

as far as i know, your phone does not have a built in GPS.

So yes you will need to get a external GPS, Bluetooth Gps's are prob the most popular.

A GPS receiver's job is to locate four or more satellites, figure out the distance to each, and use this information to deduce its own location. This operation is based on a simple mathematical principle called trilateration.

No you do not need to connect to the internet.

There is no charges for useing GPS anywere

Yes it works worldwide
