Discussion: Battery life

Battery life I purchased my sprint diamond touch in December. I find that the "auto light" option, although very cool, is very electron hungry. As soon as I put it in manual mode (backlighting, that is), my battery life improved considerably. Also, I find that if you a "kill all aps" option, sometimes it leaves the backlighting on even when the screen is black. you can't really tell in normal daylight. At night, it was obvious. If you have the AT&T version, it is my understanding that you have about 30% less battery life.
