6900 has GPS , more memory, better performance, better speakers ( a big problem with the 6800 ), better volume control. 6800 has a slide out keyboard. 7  out of 10 found this valuable. Do you?

The HTC phones are awful. I have had so many problems with it, it is not worth it! It constantly goes into flight mode, dropped calls all the time, you don't get your messages until 24 hours later and they want to claim it is because YOU somehow damaged the phone. They are quick to lay blame, however, I believe the problem lies in poor memory on the phone. It is not able to update the way it is designed to. And they knew there wer issues or they would have never made the 6900 so quickly. They basically came out the same time. I paid $100. to the insurance company to get a "like or comparable phone" I was told it would ship overnight. That was 5 days ago and these sorry people do not even have the courtesy to call me. Terrible service. terrible deals. Stay away. You would think that a company would just simply do the RIGHT THING and HONOR their product. I feel like I got scammed in a big way and bought a piece of junk. Shame on you HTC! Do you find this valuable?

I've had my htc 6900 for a little over a month and i haven't had any problems, i heard there were problems with the 6.1 software so i sticking with the 6.0 that it came with, the only draw back i have with it is the tiny typing, i have the sbc full screen on but it would be alot easier if it was bigger, i have a 2400mAh battery and also the 1900mAh battery and the one that it came with, the extended batterys are great, i can use my htc all day and it wont drain the battery any lower then 80 percent, I also have a blackberry 8330 curve, i love that also, but the htc i like the windows internet, just like a regular pc, sorry your having trouble, hope it gets better, Do you find this valuable?

I am also sorry that you are having trouble with your phone. I have had my Tilt for over a year, and have never had a lick of trouble. Every once in a long while it acts up, but a soft reset later it is good as new. My PC acts up way more than this phone. it has been great , unlike my wife's iPhone which has a new problem every other week.

I am about to purchase the 6800 as I like the keyboard seperate from the screen. When looking at the specs for both phones, it appears that the 6800 is the stronger phone, and that some things have been sacrificed in the 6900 for the sake of sleekness. I would be appreciative of any input users of either phone have, as I am not hugely techno savey and could be reading the specs incorrectly. I have not purchased yet, so the insight will be helpful in making a final decision. THANKS! Do you find this valuable?

I have the 6900 and love it, the size of the onscreen keyboard could be bigger, but he stylis works great, i looked at the 6800 and the slide out keyboar, that was why i didn't like it, i also like the sytlis, the 6900 has more memory the the 6800, i would say get the 6900, i have an extended battery for mine and i can use it all day and hte battery doesn't go any lower then 80 percent,,, happy shopping, froggi Do you find this valuable?
