I'm using outlook 2007 and activesync version 4.5 on a windows XP desktop pc. Trying to sync my contacts, calendar and tasks, only some are sync, others are ignored. My carrier, Rogers, can't help. Anyone got this problem before ?

Heyyeah 2007, can couse problems some tips: -if you have an old PST file (that might be the problem) or it's to big -can be outlook profiles pritty much sure that this is your issu start creating a new profile in Control Panel - Mail export the PST file and it's better to repair it prior to import in on the new outlook profile to repair the PST file check for someting called "Imbox Repair Toll" it's a small utility built in in windowsXP , search for "scanpst.exe" or has to be somewhere in c:/program files/common files after reparing the pst file imported to the new profile that you have created in Email on Control Panel That has to take care of it Cheers VHTC |

I have the new HTC touch and when sync"ing" some of my calendar appointments will sync while others do not. When created on the phone/device they sync over the the PC (XPsp2 with v4.5 active sync & office 2007). I have the partnership set up to combine the items from the desktop and the mobile device however when an appointment is created on the desktop it will not sync over the the device. Upon initial sync, some of my calendar items appeared on the device however some didn't. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

My device isn't an HTC but an iPAQ (with WM5), but I have the same problems as described in this thread. The repair-trick didn't fix the problem. I'm running XP SP2 with Outlook 2007 and ActiveSync 4.5 |

According to HP I was told that they are not supporting Microsoft Office 2007 or Outlook 2007. "Thanks for contacting HP; Click"

I did hours of research on this problem by googling it today. Somewhere somebody admitted that it is a Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center problem, that Microsoft knows about the bug, and that it is "being fixed". The fix must be incorported in an updated version of the handheld software. I am pretty certain of this answer after reading everything. What it means is that I can't sync my calendar for now. :-[ What good is a handheld that doesn't sync?
