HTC Touch Album Art

How can I get my HTC Touch (verizon xv6850) to show album art when using the 3D touch flo interface. The user manual says that album art from music off of the storage card will not be shown. However I have music on my storage card that the album art is visible with the touch flo interface. Why is it selective and how can I get all my album art to be seen?
