Here is an Engadget link: http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2006/10/02/htc-trinitys-gps-receiver-lies-dormant/"Yes the HTC P3600 has built in GPS if you have the updated ROM, the GPS is on com port 9. It work with most GPS software. If using route 66 you need Version 7.0.3377 or above for it to work, tomtom works fine with updates. Just download the ROM update and your GPs will work, mine has been workingfor about 6 months with GPS built in. So go to HTC and sign in to there club and download the files you need. |
