HTC Album - no rotate feature anymore

How come you can't rotate pictures in the latest version of HTC Album? It really stinks. I have a photo that is sideways and need to rotate it. If I turn my screen, the picture turns with it, so it's always sideways no matter which way I go. It used to be a simple finger gesture but now it's gone. :( Do you find this valuable?
