Shadow, poor audio sound from the phone

I recenty bought a Shadow used. I love the phone but the hand set audio quality is terrible! It's very tinny sounding. Is their a fix for this? Whats going on? Thanks for any help that's provided.

go to start and then profiles then menu edit there you well find some volume settings, also go to sounds theres lots of sounds settings there,

I have a diamond myself, and the sound quality of the headsets is comparable only to those sold in local chinese stores. I'll never buy htc again
