diamond rom update

I want to update my rom, but notice that the download site says it is a generic download and that I will lose software, etc. specific to my carrier. Does this mean my phone will no longer be branded to alltel? How do I get all of that back if I update the rom?

You dont. You need to wait for Alltell to release an update for their model.

Any Alltel upgrades should be posted on the Alltel website, but there are none that I know about. The generic should work, but of course you must decide between the update and your Alltel apps.
