how to block headphones

something happened to the pins in the "universal" plug, so my 3300 thinks the headphones are plugged in even if they are not, so I can't hear anything from the speakers... anyone knows how to convince it that the headphones are not plugged in? Thank you!!! Do you find this valuable?
