I would like to know is there a 6700 professional version of the O/S and if so does it say that in the about icon?

The XV6700 only came in Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC Phone edition. The professional designation is new and applies to Windows Mobile 6 devices that have a touchscreen. Officially, Windows Mobile 6 is not available for the XV6700, but there is a cooked rom available over at www.ppcgeeks.com.
