HYC TyTN II

I have had the phone for 2 weeks problems encountered network signal poor only 1 bar I put a blackberry next to it on same network had full signal of 5 bars and I put a cheap nokia new £15 nokia and that had 4 bars signal also having speaker problem
really like the htc as phone over the others but wish it functioned better, going to contact htc if they are willing rectify as it should perfom better

I have the same problem (and analysis) using the Tytn II and the Dutch operator KPN. So I guess this is not an operator related problem.
Does anyone have a solution?

I have the smae problem. I also tried another the same time with the same network and it worked much better than HTC TYTN II. Just today, the TYTN II is not getting any signal at all. So, I just go bak to my old cheap nokia which picks the full bars of the network. Totally disappointed with TYTN II

I have had the same problem, unable to receive/make calls & txts, had a BIG arguement with network, eventually phone went back to repair for assessment. Returned 7 days later with a new circuit board, didn't say which one but phone has a new IMEI number. It has worked fantastic since. The battery life has improved due to no more signal hunting and I never miss a call or txt and only struggle when reception is really poor but same for everyone.
Send them back get them fixed if its under warrenty nothing to lose except a few days without phone!
