RE: Strange 4 color screen "star100 IPL 2.04.001" Dec 24 2007, 3:14 PM EST "Thank You, How do I reload the o/s?"At the bottom of the rainbow screen it should say serial or USB. Plug the device into your PC and it should change to one or the other (USB or PC). Download the RUU from the HTC America website and run the wizard to load it on the device. RE: Strange 4 color screen "star100 IPL 2.04.001" Dec 16 2008, 12:07 PM EST I can almost guarantee that the camera button on the side of the phone is stuck in. Would have never even noticed if it wasn't for another forum and this caused the same error for 2 others as well. Check the camera button on the side of the phone and make sure it is not pushed in at all then put the cover back on and reboot....voila! Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Strange 4 color screen "star100 IPL 2.04.001" Dec 25 2008, 11:05 AM EST You can also often recover from the cold boot screen by pressing and holding the start & contacts buttons (the two small dashes - - at the top of the keypad) while also pressing the red "on" button. It takes a little dexterity, but it works when mine boots up in that mode. Do you find this valuable? |
