RE: VIDEO PROBLEM?? Dec 7 2007, 1:25 PM EST I use a mac and the videos won't play unless I run them through another app. Not sure what's on the Tilt disc but there may be a "demux'ing" app or something. At the worse, you can search the net for something to convert/demux them. A friend's digicam shoots video, too, and he doesn't get sound unless he demuxes it. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: VIDEO PROBLEM?? Dec 11 2007, 9:26 AM EST It's a codec (COmpression DECompression) issue. Your player(s) don't have the codec for the Tilt. You can surf for codecs (I can't tell you which it is, sorry). Or, try the free VLC media player (Mac/Windows/BeOS, Linux...): http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ It plays almost everything as it has a lot of the codecs used by various apps/companies built in. It has some other features as well. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: VIDEO PROBLEM?? Dec 12 2007, 8:17 AM EST I have problems when I'm playing videoes on my TyTN 2. I have converted the video to fit on my TyTN 2 but it still aren't going smooth enough. I use the tcmp for playing movies. another problem: I'm doing some programming in Visual Basic in Microsoft Visual Studio. I programmed a cube thats rotating on all axes and its working on my TyTN 2, but its not working well. its not rotating smoothly, its nearly rotating. but a friend of mine have the HTC s710 and he tried my 3d cube application and it was working perfectly on his mobile. I think its strange when the HTC TyTN 2 is newer, and should be better on such things. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: VIDEO PROBLEM?? Jan 2 2008, 2:04 PM EST Another workaround: Using the camera's menus, in Video mode, horizonally scroll over the Advanced panel. Under Capture Format, switch to H.263 - this is the format that the MMS videos default to, but you can also set it for your regular videos. QuickTime will play these very nicely. And, you can use QuickTime Pro to export them to MP4 or MOV. I was then able to import the MOV format into Adobe Premiere Pro for editing. Do you find this valuable? |

What helped and did not helped me Aug 15 2008, 5:23 PM EDT Not helpful for me (HTC TYTN II mp4 files): iTunes, VLC Media Player,Quick TIme Player, Media Player Classic But helpful turned out to be: Haali Media Splitter (also called Matroska Splitter) to play mp4 in Windows Media Player, plus de codecs package named ffdshow. I Installed them in this order. Do you find this valuable? |
