I only have 45MG free; If I go to uninstall programs there is really nothing there; If I go to TOOLS, then File Explorer, I can see lots of things like trial games, etc that I dont need that could free up space but I would need to do it correctly.

The last time it was done was by AT&T store and he must have deleted a system file because I ended up having to do a hard reset.

Still there must be a safe way to get rid of SOME of this trial crap that came with the TILT2 Touch Pro 2 by AT&T.

right now: PROGRAMS
total 187.07 MG
in use 152.89
free 34.18 - I NEED TO CLEAR THIS???? IDEAS TO DO IT SAFELY TO GIVE ME SOME MORE SPACE???

for STORAGE on the device (not the sd card)
total 226.17 MG
in use 120.59 MG
free 105.58 MG

thks for your help,

THIS SHOULD BE SET UP AS A THREAD - NOT A PAGE

The trial games that you see are not loaded in program memory unless you tap the icons to load them.

The easiest way to rid your device of Bloatware is to not load it in the first place. When you do a hard reset, as the device is coming back up, watch the screen and you will see a notice that it is loading AT&T content (the message varies from device to device) but when you see that type of message, hit the soft reset button with your stylus. That will interrupt the loading of the Bloatware and complete the reset without loading it. Whether the bloatware is loaded or not will not affect the speed of your phone. All that junk software is simply loaded into the storage memory of the device but is not activated as a running program unless you tap one of the apps to load it.

The best way to free up program memory and keep the speed up on your device is to make sure you don't have programs running that you don't need. Check the Task Manager by going to Start>Settings>System Tab>Task Manager and stopping the apps that you don' t need. After I sync my phone with my PC, I always stop Active Sync from running in the background, since it will reload itself the next time I sync. Some of the other apps that take a lot of program memory are GPS, QuickGPS. Having more available program memory will keep your device speedy.
