AT&T Tilt Touch Screen Alignment
Is your AT&T Tilt Touch Screen unresponsive? Trouble getting to the Align Screen option on the AT&T Tilt using Start>Settings>Screen>Align Screen Button?
Before performing a Hard Reset, try the following:
Press the Center Navigation Key (aka Action Button) and the Internet Explorer Button at the same time.
The Align Screen will appear. Run through the alignment process. If the issue persists, then move on to the Hard Reset.
Note: After market carrying cases that use a magentic closure can actually interfere with the Touch Screen alignment (causes screen drift and overall mis-alignment).

JOH_in_CA | Touch screen unresponsive to stylus - solution | 3 | Wednesday, 5:43 AM EST by Anonymous

II had a problem in that my Tilt suddenly stopped responding to stylus input. If I used my finger and pressed hard, the screen would respond, but otherwise not at all. The AT&T store recommending having the unit replaced under warranty. But before doing that, I came to this forum, and found the note concerning getting to the screen alignment function by pressing the Center Navigation Key (aka Action Button) and the Internet Explorer Button at the same time. I did so, and the screen came to life and responded perfectly. Hope this helps others facing the same problem.

alketden | AT&T Tilt freezes during screen alignment | 4 | Apr 12 2008, 7:58 PM EDT by Anonymous

Hi everyone, I have an unlocked AT&T Tilt and I'm using it with a Rogers SIM card. Yesterday, when I wanted to perform a screen alignment on the phone I noticed that as soon as I start the alignment the phone freezes and the only way to bring it back is to soft reset the phone. I am really upset, because this option work very well with my previous HTC Touch. Please, tell me what I shoud do, since the phone is becoming unresponsive to my stylus tapping. Thanks in advance.
